week 5 class 2
Interesting:
1.) Event study format is the process of replicating specific effects of past studies in a more general context, and provided external validity to the data used in the current study.
2.) Google did not provide the raw data on search-term activity; thus the results were based on anonymized search logs and provided a volume index statistic for specific search terms.
3.) A majority of social conversation took place in the seven days prior to and three days after game day.
Questions:
1.) How do you increase pre-game conversation?
2.) What is the difference between an normal regression analysis and a subsequent analysis? What is multi-colinearity?
3.) If you increase brand engagement and it does not correlate with higher recommendations or promotions, how will you be able to get back that wasted time and make up for the losses?
